Asian Hornets

You may have heard a lot in the news recently about Asian Hornet sightings in England.

The invasive Asian Hornet poses a threat to UK pollinators, in particular all kinds of bees including honey bees and bumble bees.

This year there have already been multiple nest sightings (42 as of 8th September) predominantly in Kent, but also in Hampshire and Devon.  Rolling Updates are available on BeeBase.
