Surrey Police need more PCSOs

Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) are salaried, uniformed, and fully trained members of Surrey Police. They are not volunteers, nor are they someone who sits behind a desk and does loads of paperwork. They carry out valuable Police work, especially dealing with members of the public – us. It’s not a 9 to 5 job, and it’s never boring.

Surrey Police currently has a notable shortage of PCSOs and this means that the Police are not always able to operate as effectively as they could. Being a PCSO has direct career opportunities within the Police force. If you want to know more, the Police have a webinar that will give you more details. See below.

We offer:

• A great starting salary
• Excellent training
• Career development opportunities
• A rewarding and varied career where no day is the same

We are looking for good communicators and problem-solvers who want to make a positive difference in their community.

Recruitment is open from 2-27 October, so get your applications in now!
