Join Us for our Village Tidy Event on Saturday 12th September 2026

Our village is a wonderful place to live, and we’d like your help to keep it looking its best.

On Saturday 12 September 2026, the Parish Council is organising a Village Tidy and Litter Pick, and we would love as many residents as possible to come along and lend a hand.

We’ll be meeting at The War Memorial at 10.00am, where litter pickers and rubbish bags will be provided. All you need to bring is a pair of sturdy gloves, comfortable footwear and plenty of community spirit.

Whether you can spare half an hour or stay for the whole morning, every bit of help makes a real difference. As well as making our streets, footpaths and green spaces cleaner and more attractive, it’s a great opportunity to meet neighbours, spend some time outdoors and take pride in caring for our village.

Everyone is welcome to take part. Families are encouraged to join in, although children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Together we can make a visible difference and help ensure our village remains a clean, welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.
