Betchworth Repair Cafe – with a Cycle Special

On Saturday 18th April, Phil O’Donoghue, AKA ‘Dr Bike’, will be joining the Re-Betchworth team at our pop-up Repair Café.

If your cycle needs a little TLC before you jump on the saddle this spring, bring it along to Betchworth Village Memorial Hall (RH3 7DF) between 10.30 and 1.00. Not just your bikes, of course!

Help stop repairable items going into landfill and save money. Bring your broken stuff to the Betchworth Repair Café. What’s that thing you’ve got at the back of the cupboard that’s too good to chuck and just needs a little fixing? How about the vacuum cleaner with a worn cable, a jacket that needs letting out or in, the pressure washer with no pressure, a toaster that’s just not toasting like it used to?

Don’t chuck it- fix it! Whatever it is that needs a little TLC, here’s your chance to get it repaired – free of charge! The multiskilled Dorking Repair Café team will be working alongside our own growing team of volunteers. And we’re delighted to be joined by expert repairer, Dr Bike, so bring your cycle along for its spring check over.

Coffee, tea and other refreshments available.

Optional donations are very welcome to cover costs for hall hire, insurance, PAT testing equipment etc.
