Facing up to Climate Change Event

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record.

The People’s Emergency Briefing brings together people in local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond – together with their MP.

Betchworth Parish Council, reBetchworth and 4Bs Biodiversity Group are extending an invitation to residents living across the 4Bs (Buckland, Betchworth, Brockham and Boxhill) to attend a ‘Climate Change’ event at 7pm on Monday 26th October 2026. 

Please keep the evening free to join your neighbours for an eye-opening video screening that explores how damage to nature and our climate is impacting our daily lives and our economy. The screening will be followed by an open discussion on the practical actions we can take to mitigate the effects of climate change, protect our environment and our future.

You can book a space at any event listed as public …..depending upon the location you select you may find the post screening discussion not as directly relevant but may still gather learning points to bring back and share more locally.
