Buckland Park Lake

Buckland Park Lake, which is part of Buckland Estate is home to a 50-acre lake, bounded by dramatic sand cliffs and almost 50 acres of mature woodland and offers a range of activities for all ages that the Estate team hope will provide an enjoyable day out in nature for all the family.
The water sports lagoon is home to The Surrey Hills Adventure Company (“The SHAC”), who run stand up paddle boarding lessons and sessions and an open water swimming club. All water activities need to be pre-booked and swimming is not otherwise permitted.
An onsite eaterie, The Reverie, serves breakfast and lunch, and offers a view across the lake that is something special. It is also open for pre-booked evening dining on Fridays and Saturdays and is available for private hire.
In addition, the park offers a variety of wellness activities, a lake-side sauna, mini-rovers (electric replica land rovers for 5-9 year olds), alpacas and a fly fishing club. Look out for pop events.
During park hours you will need to buy a ticket (or be a season ticket holder) for entry to the park and to visit. If you have pre-booked a session with The SHAC or another activity, you do not need an entry ticket, but please check the terms before arrival. Due to the wildlife, we can’t allow dogs, so please leave your four legged friend at home.
