Royal Mail – Has any of your post been delayed or lost?

Buckland residents whose properties have RH3 postcodes did not receive regular postal deliveries over the summer following the redeployment of their permanent postie in early July. Many residents were left to routinely travel to the Dorking sorting office to collect items during the very limited operating hours i.e. 8am-10am Monday to Friday and 8am – noon on Saturday.

Our local MP has been lobbying Royal Mail for appropriate action to be taken to restore a fully functioning delivery service to all Buckland properties and his office has recently shared a response received from Royal Mail.

Please be kind to any new postie you encounter in Buckland – hopefully the round will soon be fully resourced. If a postie is struggling to locate a property and you are ensure of the location being sought do remember there is a map in the bus shelter located opposite the village shop which displays property names.
