MVDC introduces new requirements for Planning Applications

Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) has announced two new Validation checklists (Local Validation Requirements (LVR) and Biodiversity Net Gain Requirements (BNGR)) will apply from 10th November 2025.

These two checklists specify information you will need to submit at the same time as you lodge a planning application.

If you are thinking about submitting a planning application please download the two checklists available via this link to the MVDC website.

If the application you are submitting is for a house extension or an outbuilding please be sure to check the Supplementary Planning Guidance MVDC adopted in July 2025.
